It is important that pupils are given a variety of different tasks in order to be challenged in different ways. Some tasks encourage students to work together towards finding a solution to a problem, others allow for a greater divergence of views and opinions and do not have any fixed “end point“. Some tasks require students to work together to say quite a lot in one go , other require more frequent shorter turns in dialogues and conversations. Some tasks require students to work in groups, some in pairs, and some to make individual presentations.
This workshop will provide you with a taste of various activities.
