Drama is as a very powerful tool in the language classroom. Dramatization means that the children become actively involved in a text and the whole process makes language more meaningful. In this workshop we will look at practical examples of various drama activities for young learners, which are based on a charming story.
Petra Pašalov is a teacher and mother of a 2-year-old son. After her studies at Masaryk University and JAMU, she became a drama teacher. She has been teaching English for 10 years, first as a primary school teacher and later as a private language school teacher. Her teaching experience ranges from young learners to adults, and she has wide experience in teaching English and drama at primary level. Petra currently teaches at a primary language school. She is particularly interested in using drama techniques in language teaching.
